Founded in the early 1990s by Peter Zálešák and Ján Tomáš, it pioneered the franchise model in the region, initially distributing major brands like Sony and Panasonic through small stores. The company expanded by developing large retail stores under the NAY Elektrodom brand, which offers a wide range of electronics and services. Currently, Nay operates 39 NAY Elektrodom stores in Slovakia and 40 Electro World stores in the Czech Republic.
